$1 Million Medical Malpractice Settlement | Daytona Beach Personal Injury Lawyer

A jury recently awarded $1 million in a medical malpractice case.  A New Mexico man sued his doctor after a faulty surgery left him with serious infections due to the doctor’s negligence.  The negligence occurred during surgery to repair a cut caused by a prior colonoscopy.  The doctor failed to find the laceration and assumed it had healed.  Due to the doctor’s mistake the patient suffered serious infections and needed a total of 13 operations.
