23-Year-Old Faces 60 Years In Prison After Accident | Orlando Personal Injury Lawyer

An accident in 2005 caused by 23-year-old Luis Esteban Colon left two men dead at the scene. Colon now faces sixty years in prison for vehicular homicide.

Colon still denies he was driving the car during the crash even though DNA evidence shows otherwise.  Authorities say he was driving recklessly at over 100 mph when he crashed into two vehicles in oncoming traffic.  Two of Colon’s friends, Alonso Vega Gazo, 21, and Luis Vazquez Cruz, 19, were passengers in the car. Both men died at the scene.  Colon ran from the scene of the accident but decided to return.  He only suffered minor injuries.
