5-Year-Old Dies During Dental Procedure | Daytona Beach Medical Malpractice Lawyer

A 5-year-old boy has died after his pediatric dentist sedated him for a procedure.  Dylan Stewart, from Cedar Key, was with Dr. Ronnie Grundset for fillings and caps when the incident occurred.  The child was given the medication chloral hydrate for the procedure.  When complications arose, Stewart was transported to Shands Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The child’s death is under investigation at this time.
