$85,000 Settlement In Malpractice Overdose Case | Jacksonville Medical Malpractice Lawyer

A New York medical malpractice suit recently settled for $85,000 after a methadone overdose.  The widow of the 35-year-old victim will receive the settlement.  The victim overdosed after his doctor wrote him numerous narcotic prescriptions even while he was a patient under treatment of opiate dependency.  He died of an overdose.  The doctor lost her license as well for criminal sale of a prescription for a narcotic.
