Autistic Man Left In Car, Caregiver Arrested | Daytona Beach Nursing Injury Lawyer


A 26-year-old disabled man was left in a hot vehicle for more than 30 minutes this week.  David Samar suffers from autism and is unable to speak and suffers from seizures.  Samar’s caregiver, Nicholle Methax, 24, left the man while she watched television in a hotel room.  An investigator found Samar in the vehicle profusely sweating.  Methax was arrested and charged with neglect of a disabled person.
