After Pedestrian Accident, Volusia County Beach Patrol Will Now Use ATVs | Daytona Beach Accident Attorney
The Volusia County Manager is making changes to the vehicles driven by the beach patrol. There is not a specific time frame yet but the beach patrol will be switching from their pickup trucks to ATVs. This comes after another pedestrian was struck on the beach by the patrol. This is the third accident in just over a year. Pickup trucks will still be used for specific purposes but ATV’s are expected to replace some and be safer.
