A 53-year-old Daytona Beach resident was killed Sunday night in a single motorcycle accident.  Kenny Hayes was driving on U.S. 1 in Ormond Beach when he lost control on a turn.  Hayes died from his injuries.  Passenger, Kelly Welch, 26, was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center on trauma alert.  The accident is currently under investigation and alcohol may have been a factor.
