A 38-year-old man from Port Orange, Florida was killed Tuesday morning when speeding car crashed into the back of his vehicle. The car, driven by Eric Mendez, 27, of Orange City, crashed into the Jeep, then another van, which was unable to avoid the collision.
The driver of the Jeep, Brian Fitzgibbons, died at the scene of the accident.  Krystle McFadden, of Deltona, was driving the van and sustained serious injuries.  Mendez suffered only minor injuries.  The accident is still under investigation and blood alcohol tests are pending.
