Authorities think a street race in Orlando, FL was the cause of a deadly accident last night. Giovanni Perez, 18, was hit by an Acura RSX in a parking lot and suffered fatal injuries. The lot was located at 7510 Presidents Drive in Orlando.
Perez was said to have been watching the race when the vehicle struck him. The impact threw the young man around 70 feet from where he was standing. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and has not been identified.
