Bedsores Cause Leg Amputation | Daytona Beach Nursing Home Injury Lawyer

A lawsuit has been filed after an 89-year-old nursing home resident lost both her legs.  Almida Nanton suffered serious bedsores because of the alleged neglect of her nursing home staff.  As a result of these bedsores, both her legs needed to be amputated. The lawsuit alleges Nanton was not properly moved every two hours to prevent the sores.  She later died when a catheter punctured a vein in her neck.
