Caesarean Left Woman Dead, Family Awarded $5.2 Million | Daytona Beach Medical Malpractice Lawyer

A New York Jury has awarded $5.2 million in a medical malpractice lawsuit.  A woman died after undergoing a Cesarean surgery in Albany, NY.  Diane McCabe suffered significant blood loss when her uterine arteries were either torn or cut during surgery.  She was not treated properly to fix the problem and later died.  Her family will receive $1 million from the hospital and $4 million from two of McCabe’s doctors.
