Patrick Ambroise, 35, was killed Saturday when a car hit his parked vehicle on Florida’s Turnpike. Ambroise was a trooper for the Florida Highway Patrol. Around 8:30 p.m. a vehicle driven by Jonathan Garcia, 19, hit Ambroise's patrol car causing it to burst into flames. Ambroise died at the scene. Garcia was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The accident is under investigation.
