Alcohol may have been a factor in a police chase that left 26-year-old Leonard Lukaj in the hospital Monday. Lukaj was fleeing in a pickup truck while the Jacksonville police chased him on Beach Boulevard. Lukaj lost control near the 9A entrance and hit a tree. He is in critical condition at Shands Jacksonville hospital.
