Child Dies From Drug Overdose, Doctor’s License Suspended | Daytona Beach Medical Malpractice Lawyer


An emergency license suspension was recently issued for a Miami psychiatrist who works with many disabled children.  Dr. Steven Kaplan has been accused of medical malpractice after a 12-year-old patient of his died from a drug overdose.  Denis Maltez, who suffered from autism, died after taking psychiatric drugs prescribed by Kaplan.
