Child In Critical Condition After Grenade Explodes | Orlando Child Injury Attorney

A 9-year-old boy is in critical condition at Tampa General Hospital.  Edward George Weise III, of Lakeland, was holding a World War II grenade that had been stuffed with firecracker powder when it exploded.  The grenade was bought by the child’s mother at an auction and filled with powder on July 4 by him and his father.  Authorities are investigating and charges are pending.
