A 2-year-old boy was killed this week when a large truck carrying garbage hit him.  The boy, Antonio Nelson, was standing in the yard holding his grandmother's hand.  The child then broke away from Patricia Manley and ran into the road and into the path of the truck.  Timothy Simmons, 27, driving the truck, attempted to swerve out of the way but ran over the child.  Charges are currently pending investigation.
