A 6-year-old child was in critical condition Wednesday night after she was struck by an officer's vehicle. Marqueasha Sabrii Henderson was crossing John Young Parkway at the time of the crash. When the child ran into the road she was struck by Lt. Julie Blackmon, 23. Blackmon tried to avoid the child but was unable to. Marqueasha was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital in critical condition.
