A single-vehicle crash on State Road 417 sent an Orlando woman to the hospital in critical condition. Sparkle Corinee Pomeroy, 26, was driving along State Road 417 when she lost control of her car, crossed the median and entered a retention pond. Multiple people jumped in to save her. She was finally rescued by divers 30 minutes after the accident. The car was approximately 10 feet under the water.
