Daytona Beach Child Abused, Mother Arrested | Port Orange Child Injury Lawyer

A Port Orange school recently reported a 6-year-old child may have been abused by his mother.  The boy had multiple injuries covering his body and said his mother hit him. A nurse practitioner confirmed the injuries were consistent with abuse.  Sherry Martin, 24, was arrested yesterday and charged with aggravated child abuse. The child and sibling are in the custody of the Department of Children and Families.
