Daytona Beach Child Suffers Skull Fracture | Volusia County Child Injury Attorney

A 2-year-old boy has suffered a skull fracture as a result of abuse.  The child, whose identity was not released, was airlifted to Orlando’s Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children with injuries including bleeding on the brain and other lacerations and bruises.  Benjamin Ahr, 34, of Port Orange has been arrested and charged with child abuse for the incident.  Ahr, the child’s mother’s boyfriend, was watching the child and his brother when the kids would not go to sleep.  Ahr allegedly threw the toddler into a wall causing the injuries.
