A local Holly Hill man suffered fatal injuries when he was thrown from his motorcycle.
John E. Leet, 60, was not wearing a helmet while driving his 2007 Yahama on South Beach Street. Leet lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle into a fire hydrant. He died later at Halifax Health Medical Center.
