A Deland motorcyclist is in critical condition after a crash on State Road 44. Juan Partridge, 45, crashed into a tree that had fallen into the road while riding his bike. He was ejected from the vehicle and thrown into the path of another motorcyclist Carl Harmon, 51. Harmon was not hurt in the crash. Partridge was taken to Daytona Beach’s Halifax Health Medical Center.
