Doctor Accused Of Malpractice After Re-using Needle Guides | Debary Medical Malpractice Lawyer

A Las Vegas doctor has recently been charged with medical malpractice.  Dr. Michael Kaplan, an urologist, had his license suspended weeks earlier.  Kaplan has been accused of failure to use reasonable care, skill and knowledge when treating his patients.  Kaplan’s staff was instructed, by him, to use one-time use, disposable endocavity needle guides up to five times.  This negligence put 115 patients at risk for contracting illnesses such as HIV and hepatitis C.

Patients may be at risk because of a failure of healthcare workers to speak up.  Learn more in this Debary medical malpractice lawyer article.
