Failed Cancer Diagnosis Leads to $1.88 Million Settlement | Daytona Beach Medical Malpractice Attorney

Christine Golden recently settled her medical malpractice claim for $1.88 million. Her husband died in 2008 of  bladder cancer that his doctor failed to diagnose.  Christine and the pathologist involved have reached a confidential settlement.  The urologist, however, is appealing the verdict in his case. 

Terrence Golden, Christine’s husband, went in for numerous visits to his doctors complaining of symptoms.  The two doctors failed to diagnose a biopsy done of his bladder. Once the cancer had been diagnosed by another doctor, it was too late for Mr. Golden.  He died at age 60.
