A 56-year-old man from Umatilla was killed in a car accident Saturday night. Juan Rivera was on County Road 42 when he veered into oncoming traffic. Rivera’s truck hit another vehicle, driven by Howard McLane, causing his truck to overturn. Rivera was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. McLane was not injured.
