A car accident Friday night in Osceola County killed one Lakeland resident. Gary Strickland, 54, lost control of his vehicle when he over-corrected. The Toyota Tacoma flipped multiple times before landing on the north side of the road. Strickland had been driving eastbound on U.S. 192. He was taken to the hospital where he died.
