A 24-year-old Ormond Beach resident was killed in a hit-and-run crash Friday night.  Christine Fancher was riding her motorcycle on Atlantic Avenue when she was hit by a car and ejected from her bike.  The car proceeded to run her over and then fled the scene of the accident.  Fancher died early Saturday morning from her injuries.

The driver of the car, Bryan Hockensmith, called police Sunday morning and confessed.  He was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident with death and driving with a suspended license.
