A Lakeland man was killed this week when he lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown off. Shawn Stidman, 30, was driving on Sleepy Hill Road in Lakeland when he crashed into a concrete pole. Stidman was not wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck. He was taken to the hospital where he died.
