Fatal Pedestrian Accident, Driver Charged With DUI | Ormond Beach Personal Injury Attorney

A fatal accident occurred Wednesday night when a pedestrian was hit by a truck. The 59-year-old pedestrian was crossing U.S. Highway 192 when a vehicle, without headlights on, hit him. The victim’s identity has not yet been released. The driver of the truck, Joe Dailey, 54, has been charged with DUI manslaughter. Dailey was also charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident.
