A car crash in Lake County yesterday resulted in the death of a 41-year-old woman. Alberta McKiltrick, of Clermont, suffered fatal injuries after crashing her vehicle into a semi-truck. The semi, driven by Herman Mardis, 46, was traveling on County Road 561 when McKiltrick crossed the center line into its path. McKiltrick died at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Mardis suffered minor injuries in the crash.
