A 22-year-old DeLand resident was killed Thursday morning in a car crash that also seriously injured two others.  Benjamen Anderson was a passenger in a car driven by James Jugovich, 23, of Georgia, when the accident occurred.  Jugovich was driving at a high speed when he lost control on a curve and crashed into a tree.

Anderson was killed in the wreck.  Jugovich suffered serious injuries.   He was transported to the hospital along with another passenger, Jonathon Krueger, 23, of DeLand.  Krueger also suffered serious injuries.  No one was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
