Florida Couple Awarded $36 Million In Medical Malpractice Suit | Daytona Beach Medical Malpractice Lawyer

A Palm Beach County jury has awarded a woman and her husband a total of $36 million.  Kathleen Ramey was involved in a car accident and underwent a steroid injection in 2000.  Dr. Andrew Weiss, her pain management doctor, was negligent when giving Ramey the injection and caused a four-inch hole in her spinal cord.  Ramey was left partially paralyzed.  Weiss lost his medical license and has been serving time in federal prison for illegally distributing oxycodone.
