Florida Slips In Rankings For Disciplining Doctors | Daytona Beach Malpractice Attorney

The consumer group Public Citizen reported that Florida has slipped into the bottom 10 states when it comes to disciplining doctors who violate standards. The state Board of Medicine,  which licenses and oversees doctors, fell to 44th lowest in imposing serious disciplinary penalties.  They have typically ranked at or near average.  The state Department of Health oversees this medical board.
