Florida Turnpike Accident Leaves 2 Dead, 7 Injured, Infant in Serious Condition | Orlando Car Crash Lawyer

A 9-month-old baby is in serious condition and his mother is dead from a single-car crash on Florida's Turnpike in Orlando yesterday in which another adult was killed and 7 injured.

Nine people were driving in a van meant to seat seven en route to their family reunion when the passenger-side rear tire suffered a blow out causing the van to roll over near the Lake County/Sumter County line.

Ives Marie Nales, 29, and Taisha Nales, 24, both died after being thrown from the van as it rolled over. Ives Marie Nales was transporting her 9-month-old son, Kalel Blue, unrestrained in a child seat that was not secured within the van. The infant was also thrown from the vehicle in the roll over accident, suffered a broken femur and is now in serious condition.

An Ocala couple had picked the passengers up from Orlando International Airport. The driver, 50-year-old Grisselle Nales, was the only person wearing a seat belt and suffered only minor injuries.

The remaining survivors are Yvette Nales, 48, Pedro Maisonet, 17, Reglacaridad Delos-Santos, 19 and Starr Conde, 19, and Miguel Nales, 38. Some are still in critical condition.
