An 18-year-old high school student was able to discover her correct diagnosis when so many doctors failed her.

Jessica Terry had seen many doctors for symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, weight loss and stomach pains. They all explained to her something different and never correctly diagnosed her.

The young girl finally found the answer was Crohn’s disease when she brought her intestinal tissue into her science class.  When she looked through the microscope she found an inflammation called a granuloma.  Her teacher took a picture of it and sent it off to the lab where they diagnosed Terry.
