News reporter for WESH-Channel 2, Claire Metz, was injured when a truck collided with her news vehicle. The truck, driven by Drew Clark, 24, struck Metz and the driver Hutch Breneman, at the intersection of Palmetto Avenue and International Speedway Boulevard . It was reported that Clark looked away to pick up a shoe and ran the red light, striking the vehicle. He was cited for careless driving. Metz and Breneman were injured in the accident. Metz was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center.
