A motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries after crashing into a deer on Saturday. Robert Gam, 52, was in Volusia County on County Road 415 north of Taylor Road near the Spruce Creek Airport. Gam, of Sanford, was thrown from the motorcycle when he hit the animal that ran into his path. He was not wearing a helmet at the time.
