A 63-year-old man was killed after he was ejected from his motorcycle during a crash Friday. Rene Brunet Jr. was turning onto U.S. 1 from Nova Road when he crashed into a garbage truck. He was transported to Florida Hospital Oceanside where he died. No injuries were reported for the garbage truck driver, Edward Cortez, 42, of Deltona.
