Man Killed In Wreck With Ormond Beach Officer | Daytona Beach Accident Attorney

William Henry Phillips, 67, died this morning after he was thrown from his truck during an accident with a police officer.  Phillips was driving on Strickland Range Road when he struck the patrol car on Clyde Morris Boulevard.  The impact threw him from the truck.  He died at Halifax Medical Center a few hours later.

The officer, Matt Karparis, was taken to Halifax as well with head injuries. Karparis was driving a patient and a civilian at the time. Both passengers sustained minor injuries in the accident.
