Medical Negligence Case Settles For $1.8 Million | Daytona Beach Malpractice Attorney

A Michigan doctor was found negligent in a woman’s death and the jury awarded the family of the woman $1.8 million in compensation.  Lucy Ames died in 2002 of sepsis and a perforated pouch at the beginning of her large intestine.  Ames had gone in for gall bladder surgery only month’s prior.  They found the doctor negligent in clipping the right hepatic duct.
