A nurse at Lake Correctional Institution has been arrested. Elaine Wade, 48, was treating an inmate for severe burns that occurred in November. Wade has been accused of negligently caring for the mentally-disabled man. Once the man’s burns were noticed by other prison officials, he was transported to the hospital for care.
