Nurse Stands By While Patient Has Heart Attack | Deltona Negligence Attorney

A recent video at the Orange County jail confirmed a nurse failed to help an inmate while he was having a heart attack.  The nurse, Stacy Jones, failed to respond to the inmate for 10 minutes even though she was only feet away from him.  Jones finally called for a nurse who took Ronnie Benton to the medical clinic.  Benton died only minutes after.  Jones resigned from her job before the county was able to fire her.  Benton did have a history of heart disease and high blood pressure.
