A nursing home in Chicago was recently fined $400,000 after a federal inspection found serious violations.  If the nursing home does not make drastic improvements, the facility's federal funding will be cut.  The nursing home has been shown to have felons living in the home without notifying the state.  The inspection showed staff failed to supervise residents and some residents were not given their medication.  One incident at the facility involved a resident pulling a knife on another resident.
