Nursing Home Fines For Deaths Caused By Negligent Care | Daytona Beach Nursing Home Malpractice Lawyer

Two California nursing homes have been fined $100,000 and $80,000 for negligent care.  Their negligence resulted in two separate deaths.

The first death was due to dehydration and kidney failure.  The nursing home was found to have not given enough fluid to the resident.

The second death occurred after reading a chart wrong.  The patient previously asked for resuscitation but the nursing home thought the resident had not wanted it.
