Nursing Home Resident Wanders From Facility, Struck By Train | Port Orange Nursing Home Abuse Attorney

A 76-year-old man diagnosed with dementia wandered from his Florida nursing home and was killed.  Although staff at the nursing home noticed Richard Morlock was not in is room around 7 p.m. on August 23, authorities were not notified that he was missing until 11 p.m. Morlock had wondered from the facility and onto the train tracks where he was struck by an oncoming train.  His son has filed a lawsuit against the nursing home.
