Nursing Negligence Puts 1,800 Florida Patients At Risk Of Infection | Medical Malpractice Lawyer

A South Florida hospital believes over 1,800 patients have been put at risk of contracting a blood-borne infection. Broward General Medical Center has identified 1,851 patients that need to be tested for blood-borne infections such as HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C.  The patients were put at risk after a former nurse at the hospital reused medical supplies on them such as saline bags and tubing.  The nurse has resigned and been reported.
