An officer in his car was recently hit by another vehicle while on a call in Ormond Beach. Damien Richards, 33, was driving the vehicle that hit Deputy Eldridge Klepper’s car. The impact flipped Richards’ vehicle a number of times. Authorities are looking into alcohol as a possible cause for the accident.
