A deputy was killed this morning when his car was hit by another vehicle. James Louis Anderson, 44, was on Florida 9A when a sport utility vehicle, driven by Kris Elliott Caudilla, 26, crashed into him. Caudilla was on 9A but driving in the wrong direction at the time of the crash. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Authorities are investigating the incident.
