A 15-year-old girl was killed Saturday in a crash on County Road 561 and five passengers were injured. The accident occurred when a 16-year-old female driver veered into oncoming traffic and was struck by a vehicle driven by Scott Ketchersid, 46. The girl’s car was torn in half and two passengers were ejected. Melissa Guman suffered fatal injuries. Jimmy Nardeo, 15, and Ketchersid were seriously injured. The other passengers suffered minor injuries. Reports show alcohol was not involved.
