A multiple vehicle car accident that resulted in the death of an Orange City resident and injuries to a DeLand resident is under investigation.  The crash occurred Friday night on State Road 44 in DeLand.  The driver, whose name was not released, veered into oncoming traffic and struck two vehicles before fleeing the scene of the accident.  The first car was driven by Wendy Long, 38, who sustained minor injuries.  The driver of the second vehicle, Bernard Morrison, 77, was killed in the crash.
